Technical Tip: Changing port for push notification configuration

This article describes how a custom port can be used for push notification settings.

Solution

Use the following commands to set up a custom port for sending push notifications:

config system ftm-push

set proxy enable

set server-port <custom-port> <-- Enter an integer value from <1> to <65535> (default = <4433>).

set server-cert "Fortinet_GUI_Server"

set server ''

set status disable
end

Starting with FortiOS v7.6.4, FortiToken Push can be configured through the GUI.

Navigate to User & Authentication → FortiToken → Local Token Settings.
