Technical Tip: Azure dynamic address SDN connector update problem and troubleshooting

If the Azure SDN connector and its related dynamic address are not updating taking a longer time or showing a 'failed due to 429 error' error then the following steps can be followed to solve this issue.

1. First, check the dynamic filter/address resolves correctly.
2. Check the SDN connector status and it must be up.
3. If it is still not resolving then download the service tag which is shared by the SDN connector and cash in the file.
4. May still show an API 429 error then can try an alternative region until the download is successfully completed.
5. Generally, the service tag is refreshed by the local cache daily and it is usable for dynamic filtering.
6. In case it is not refreshed then run the command 'diag test application azd 3' to force for a refresh.

Note: This could be an intermittent issue in some cases and in some cases it will not work then this issue has been fixed in version FortiOS v7.2.11, v7.4.6, and v7.6.1.
