Technical Note: Traffic shaping and outbandwidth parameter for Guaranteed and Max bandwidth
Description
In order to get an accurate calculation of the guaranteed bandwidth and maximum bandwidth shaping values, you will have to set the egress bandwidth on the interface(s) where traffic shaping is applied, with the commands given further below.
FortiOS version 4.0 has been further enhanced for traffic shaping, introducing diagnose commands allowing to verify each traffic shaper's usage and giving more flexibility for configuration of shapers.
