Technical Note: Redundancy of FortiGate 1500D cooling fans
Description
The FortiGate 1500D is equipped with 3 cooling fans and 1 cooling fan for each power supply.
These fans ensure the circulation of air in through the aeration holes in the front panel and out through the back panel.
In the case of power supply failure, redundancy is provided by the second power supply. In the case of one fan failure, redundancy is provided by the two other fans.
