This article explains how to split a FortiGate internal interface into separate ports using the CLI.
Scope
FortiOS v 4.0 MR 3 and above.
Solution
The following FortiGate models allow their internal interface to be switched into separate ports:
- FG-60B, FG-80C, FG-80CM, FG-110C, FG-111C, FG-200B, FG-200B-POE
- FWF-60B, FWF-80CM, FWF-81CM
To split the internal interface via the CLI, connect to the CLI and configure as follows:
