Guest-Management configured with the email collection feature gives the appearance that previously authenticated users are logged on indefinitely.

Guest-Management configured with the email collection feature gives the appearance that previously authenticated users are logged on indefinitely.
Guest access is intended to be temporary and modifying the global authentication timeout does not resolve the issue.
Guest-Management time-out is specific to the Device Identification feature.

Solution
The device identification idle timer needs to be modified to change the Guest timeout policy.
The discovered-device-timeout setting is VDOM specific, 28 days by default, minimum 1 day to maximum 365 days.
