Technical Note : Barcode scanning for registration of FortiToken

Description
This article demonstrates a method to simplify the registration of FortiToken devices on both the FortiOS and the FortiAuthenticator platforms.  In order to register a FortiToken with the FortiGate or FortiAuthenticator appliance, the token serial number must be entered into the
GUI.
 
This document details a method of using the barcode on the token as a way of removing the need for manual entry of the token serial number.
