Technical Tip: Expired organization license

Description

This article describes a possible issue where the organization's license is still expired after updating the license via FortiCloud. 

Scope

FortiEDR Console/License Expired.

Solution

Scenario: License has been updated in FortiCloud; however, when checking in the organizations, the license is still being reported as expired with the old date and has not been updated.

Explanation: By design, only the host organization (the top organization) is automatically updated with the new license and expiration date.

Resolution: All other organizations (except the hoster) require manual action to modify their Expiration Date by editing each organization in Administration -> Organizations.
