Solution | Agent support: Each FortiDLP Agent is supported for 12 months starting from its release. Beyond this period, FortiDLP may enforce an End of Life policy so that older Agent versions will no longer operate.  OS-specific support: For operating system (OS) versions fully supported by their vendors, FortiDLP provides guidance and assistance focused on troubleshooting, recommendations for configuration and functionality-related issues, and timely bug fixes and enhancements in new Agent releases. However, when an Agent is running on an OS version that is reaching its end of vendor service, the following will apply. At least one month before an OS version’s end-of-vendor service date, this document will be updated with the last Agent that will support the OS version. From the end of FortiDLP’s support date for that OS version: FortiDLP will make its best efforts to assist customers with issues where possible, for the normal 12-month period. In the event that an existing solution or workaround cannot be found, customers will be expected to upgrade to an OS that is fully supported by the vendor. Any issues pertaining to the FortiDLP Agent running on this OS version will not be addressed with bug fixes and enhancements. FortiDLP may enforce a policy so that newer Agent versions would not operate on this OS version. After the 12-month support period for the last supported Agent version, FortiDLP may enforce an End of Life policy so that older Agent versions will no longer operate on this OS version.

 Server editions: FortiDLP provides support for Agents on endpoints running Windows Server versions until the end of the Windows extended support period. This is normally 10 years from the release date (five years of OS mainstream support followed by five years of OS extended support). FortiDLP does not support OS versions that reach the Windows Extended Security Updates phase.
