Technical Tip: Data retention and export options

Data is stored by the Reveal platform for either 30 or 90 days, depending on the chosen retention period with the default being 30 days. To confirm the current retention settings or switch between plans, contact the Fortinet sales representative for pricing options. 

Note that if switching between retention periods, any previously imported data will be stored for the original retention period. 

Long-term/ongoing bulk export of data is not currently supported. The export to CSV function can be used to capture a subset of data for offline analysis, but the speed of this export is slower than data currently ingested into the platform.

As such, it cannot be effectively used to export all data for storage elsewhere.
