Troubleshooting Tip: How to solved issue 'URL for Detail' provided in the alert email cannot be accessed

| Solution | When an alert email is sent from the FortiDeceptor, the 'URL for Detail' is included in the email body as per the example below.
Upon selecting the 'URL for Detail', it is unable to access the incident details in FortiDeceptor.
To solve this issue, make sure the client PC can resolve the FortiDeceptor host name. The alert email will use the FortiDeceptor host name configured in the System -> Settings -> Host Name.
Once the hostname can be resolved by the client PC, it will show the incident details as per the example below after selecting the 'URL for Detail'.
