Technical Tip: Multiple DB support in FortiDB sniffing mode
Description
This article describes the limitation of sniffing mode on FortiDB where Sniffing mode only supports monitoring on a single Database within the same physical DB server. If the DB server contains multiple Database instance it may intermittently unable to record SQL transaction correctly.
Solution
For monitoring, multiple databases, recommend using Native Auditing features (for Oracle and MSSQL) and Agent client (for DB2). Refer to the FortiDB handbook for more information.
