Technical Tip: How to abort a running VA Scan on FortiDB

This article explains how to abort an ongoing VA Scan. This is important in cases where the VA scan is causing high resource utilization, or if a scan needs to be stopped for any other reason
Solution
Go to Vulnerability Assessment -> Assessments. The ongoing (running) scan should be displayed.
Select the scan that is to be stopped then click on the tab ‘Results’, select the scan and finally select Abort.
