Description This article describes how to create a Google Drive Connector to work with FortiData discovery policies.
Scope FortiData connector connection with Google Drive to work with scan discovery policies.
Solution
  1. Go to Google Admin: Service Accounts Administration.

Choose the Project to work with. In this scenario, 'Project 3478' is selected.

  1. Select Service Accounts. Then, 'Create service account'.

  1. Create the Service Account with the following Information. A Service Account Name, a service account ID, and a brief description. Then select 'Create and Continue'.

Just keep the defaults. No specific permissions are needed. Permissions will be added in the wide domain Delegation.

 

  1. Go to Service Account, choose the newly created FortiData-Demo Account, and create a key in the Keys section. Save the Service Account Unique ID.

  1. Choose the JSON file to download. Select 'Create'. Save the JSON file in a safe place.

  1. Once created. Go to Domain Wide Delegation.

     

In the Security -> API Controls -> Domain-wide Delegation. Add new.

  1. Paste the ClientID and add the following OAuth scopes:

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/admin.directory.user.readonly
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/admin.directory.group.readonly
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/admin.directory.rolemanagement.readonly
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/admin.reports.audit.readonly

  1. Go to FortiData -> Storages. Create a Google Drive Storage Type. Now. Add the Service Account Information JSON file and add a delegated Admin Email.

  1. Once created, go to FortiData and create a Discovery Scan Task.
