Description This article describes what to do when receiving the error 'Empty Response was received. Please check' when validating the WAF Configuration in FortiDAST's Scan Configuration.
Scope FortiDAST.
Solution

User gets error 'Empty Response was received. Please check' when validating the WAF Configuration in FortiDAST's Scan Configuration.
This is due to FortiDAST's unable to connect to the configured WAF with the configured information.

Verify that the information configured for the WAF is correct.
Once the FortiDAST is able and successfully connect to the configured WAF, it should show 'WAF credentials are validated successfully' when validated.
