Troubleshooting Tip: Why the vCPU usage is not populated in subscription usage of the Lacework FortiCNAPP account

Description This article describes why the Subscription Usage for vCPU may appear empty when using Lacework Organizations.
Scope Lacework, FortiCNAPP, Organization, vCPU, Subscription Usage.
Solution

The three subscription packages Lacework FortiCNAPP offers are Standard, Advanced and Enterprise.

 

Customers managing Organizations containing Sub accounts need to allocate the subscription package to each sub account to make them visible under Subscription Usage.


By default, they are not visible because they are flagged as VISIBILITY_DEFAULT_SUBSCRIPTION.

The Org Admins will be the only users who can allocate subscription packages to each sub account.

The Account level is where these subscription packages will be assigned to a given resource group.

 

To allocate subscriptions, follow these steps:

 

  1. As an Org Admin, connect to the Lacework FortiCNAPP interface:

  1. Select Usage Subscription -> Package assignment:

Assign the packages to the sub account:
