Technical Tip: Azure Resource Name in policy exception

Description

This article describes how to identify the Azure Resource Name to be used in the Azure policy exception.

Solution

Issue: 
The Policy exception is configured, but not listed in the Compliance policy exception list.

The screenshots below show the Resource ID used for the policy exception.

In the Cloud Compliance -> Policy page, the Resource column displays the Resource ID instead of the Resource Name.
Select either Non-Compliant or Compliant resource. A new browser tab will display the Resource inventory.

Use the Resource Name displayed in the Resource inventory for the Policy exception.
