Technical Tip: Set Account Alias for IAM Users

Description This article describes how to set Account Alias for IAM users.
Instead of remembering the Account ID (set of numbers by default), the IAM admin can set Account Alias to easily identify the account.
Scope FortiCloud, IAM.
Solution
  1. Select the drop-down menu on the account located at the upper right of the portal. Then select 'My Account'.

  1. Select 'My Account (IAM version)'.

  2. Select 'Edit' and update the Account Alias field. Then select 'Update'.

Note: The Account ID and the Alias are referenced with the Master Account. This is the same for all IAM users.
