What is the function of the FortiClient UID number?
Solution
The Unique Identifier (UID) is used by the FDS and FortiManager FCM to identify the different installations of FortiClient. Each FortiClient installation (on different PCs) should have different UID. FDS and FortiManager count the different UIDs for each License Key to enforce the seat count.
