Troubleshooting Tip: Advanced Web Filter settings when blocking access to adult content

Description This article describes how to more effectively block access to adult content by implementing Advanced Web Filter settings. 
Scope FortiClient EMS 7.0 and above.
Solution
  1. On the EMS Server, set Endpoint Profiles -> Adult/Mature Content -> Related Category to Block.

  1. Some websites may bypass the rule because they are new and not yet categorized.

 

  1. Enable the Plugin (disabled by default):

  1. Block wildcards related to the website URL.
