Description This article describes that Third-party Antivirus application installed which cause the real-time protection feature is disabled
Scope FortiClient.
Solution

1)  Open Powershell and execute the command 'gwmi -Namespace root\securitycenter2 -Class AntivirusProduct', to check whether/what 3rd party Antivirus application is installed on the endpoint machine.

 

2) Uninstall the Third-party Antivirus application in the right way completely and make sure the relevant registry is also removed completely.

 

3) Restart the endpoint and check FortiClient real-time protection feature now is activated.
