Description This article describes how to restore the database when the master key file is missing.
Scope FortiClient EMS.
Solution

When restoring the database from EMS GUI, there is an error below in DBTools[yyyy-mm-dd hh-mm-ss].log.

  1. Run the command below. DecryptSupportBackupFile can be found in the attachment:

  1. Unzip dbback.zip and then manually restore the database using SSMS or use RESTORE DATABASE statement.
