Description

This article describes how to removeFortiClient application via Microsoft AD, assuming that FortiClient was previously deployed via Microsoft AD.

Scope FortiClient.
Solution

To remove FortiClient application via Microsoft AD, kindly follow steps below:

 

1) Access to Domain Controller -> Server Manager -> Tools -> Group Policy Management.

 

2) In Group Policy Management, expand the Group Policy Object container, select the group policy object created with the assigned FortiClient Installer.

Right click and select Edit.

 

3.) In Group Policy Management Editor window, go to Computer Configuration -> Policies -> Software Settings -> Software installation. On the right pane, it should display the FortiClient package previously added.

 

4) Right click on the package, select All Tasks -> Remove.

Select 'Immediately' to uninstall FortiClient from domain computers.
