Technical Tip: How to use custom webserver certificate

There is a requirement to use custom certificate for the webserver.

Example:
For this article example, the certificate used is a self-signed certificate.

Step 1: Upload the custom certificate accordingly. For instructions on uploading the certificate, see Adding an SSL certificate to FortiClient EMS.

Step 2: Go to System Settings -> EMS Settings and select the certificate uploaded in Step 1.

Note: When there is no other certificate available, the option to select the certificate will be grayed out and the default certificate is selected.

Step 3: Access FortiClient EMS through the web and verify the certificate.
