Technical Tip: How to upgrade the firmware of FortiClient EMS Cloud

Follow the steps below:

1. Go to FortiClient Cloud and log in with the account to which the FortiClient EMS is registered.
   
   

2. Select the Horizontal lines on the bottom right side.
                                                   
    
    

                                                             

3. Select the Upgrade option on the right side.
   
                                                                   
4. If there is a new version of FortiClient EMS Cloud available, choose the date for the Fortinet team to perform this update.

Note: Dates are as per the Fortinet Cloud team schedule with UTC zone.

5. After selecting the date, the page will refresh and look like the image below. It is possible to reschedule the refresh, but not cancel it.

Notes:

• Always remember to read the release notes of the version to go to, to know the new features and any features that have been disabled.
• The upgrade option is available only to the Master user.
