Technical Tip: How to disable Vulnerability Scan Pop-up Notifications

Description

This article describes the steps that needs to be taken to disable the Vulnerability Scan Pop-up notifications for end users.

Scope

 FortiClient.

Solution

1. Access EMS Console:
   
   Log in to FortiClient EMS console.
   
   

2. Navigate to Endpoint Profiles:
   
   Go to Endpoint Profiles -> Vulnerability Scan and select the profile to be modified.
   
   

3. Edit Vulnerability Scan Settings:
   
   Within the profile, navigate to the Vulnerability Scan section.
   
   

4. Disable the Show Vulnerabilities Popup:
   
   Locate the option Show Vulnerabilities Popup and disable it.
   This will prevent the pop-up from being displayed on the endpoints.
   
   

5. Save Changes:
   
   Save the changes to the profile.
   
   

The endpoints associated with this profile will no longer display the vulnerability scan summary pop-up.
