Technical Tip: How to change the language in FortiClient

By default, FortiClient's language is based on the operating system language settings.

This can be overridden manually in the XML file.

For example, to change the FortiClient language into English:

1. Export FortiClient configuration backup. 

2. Find the keyword <culture_code>os-default</culture_code>.
   
   

3. Change it to <culture_code>en-US</culture_code>.
4. Import the edited configuration and the language will change.
