| Solution | If uploading the license (.lic) into EMS Console and getting the error 'Undefined License'. The license file is probably corrupted and it may show a file size of '0 bytes'. This issue may be due to the endpoint experiencing network slowness while downloading the file.
To resolve this: Try downloading the new license file from the Fortinet portal again and ensure it displays the file size as follows:
After this, upload again the correct file into EMS and it should show 'License Updated successfully'.
