Technical Tip: FortiClient stuck at connecting on version v7.4 and Windows 11

Try to manually navigate to the issue computer with the following path:

C:\Program Files\Fortinet\FortiClient\ FortiTray.exe

Select the FortiTray.exe file and connect SSL VPN again, if getting below DLL error:

This is caused by the Windows 11 update missing the DLL file. Navigate to below Microsoft link Microsoft discussion below and download the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistribution for Visual Studio, Restart the computer Download:

• Download the link for 64-bit Link for 64 bit.
• Download the link for 32-bit Link for 32 bit.

If the issue persists after the change, raise a ticket with TAC.
