Technical Tip: EMS stuck on auto upgrade from v7.2.5

According to the below document, there is a new feature of EMS v7.2.5.: Auto upgrade EMS to latest patch release 7.2.5

Some users are stuck when EMS auto upgrades from v7.2.5:

This issue is usually observed when EMS servers are unable to download required upgrade files.

To remove the pop up please upgrade the EMS server manually:

1. Take a snapshot of the EMS instance or back to the EMS Database.
2. Log in to the EMS server by using the same account when initially installed EMS.
3. Download the full EMS installer. Use the latest available version from v7.2.X.
4. Check upgrade notes from Release Notes: Upgrading | FortiClient 7.2.8 | Fortinet Document Library
5. Install EMS Upgrade manually. 

Note:

If the EMS does not use the local Database, check with Dthe BA Administrator about SQL server compatibility.
