This article describes how to disable the installation of the Fortinet Privileged Access Agent browser extension when installing FortiClient.

Scope

FortiClient, FortiClient EMS.

Solution

When installing FortiClient on computers, if the installer was created with the 'Privileged Access Agent' feature selected, the following extension will be installed automatically:

This extension works only in conjunction with FortiPAM, therefore, if installation is not required, simply edit or create a new FortiClient installer and uncheck the following option:

After unchecking the option, the installer will be recreated without the extension, and new installations will no longer automatically install the plugin.
