The GUI may sometimes show different FortiClient License counts on the Widget License Information when compared to User and Device > Device Inventory.
Solution
Use the following process via CLI:
Then deregister the FortiClient UID:
Finally use recalculate-registered-forticlients:
# diagnose endpoint registration list
Then deregister the FortiClient UID:
# diagnose endpoint registration deregister XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Finally use recalculate-registered-forticlients:
# diagnose endpoint registration recalculate-registered-forticlients
