How do I disable new software update notification on FortiClient 4.0?
Solution
To disable this feature:
 
1. Edit the HKLM\Software\Fortinet\FortiClient\FA_UPDATE\softwareupdateenabled registry key.
2. Set the value of softwareupdateenabled to 0.
