Forticlient licensed version requirement

I need some clarity.

Do we need to have a forticlient licensed version for IPSec remote vpn connectivity.

As per my understanding it should work without licnesed version as well.

Please comment what can be limitations.

Yes, you are right. No need to license for the client to site ipsec vpn.
