Solution
FortiToken Cloud (FTC) service is a cloud-based authentication service, which provides a longer-term Identity and Access Management as a Service (IDaaS) offering from Fortinet.
In case there is a FortiGate or FortiAuthenticator behind another Perimeter firewall, it is necessary to whitelist hostname /ftc.fortinet.com' .
Further, destination port '8686' also need to be whitelisted as the communication would be happening to destination address 'ftc.fortinet.com:8686'.
