Technical Tip: How to obfuscate/show user information in report execution.

Description

This article describes the configuration to obfuscate or show the user information in report execution in FortiAnalyzer.

Scope

FortiAnalyzer.

Solution

Context: By default, report results could show confidential information of end users.

There is an option in the advanced report settings to change to a generic format of the output information.

The option 'Obfuscate User' prevents publishing sensitive user data in the report result.

After enabling it the results have generic user information.
