Technical Tip: How to configure FortiSwitch ports in FortiManager

Description

This article describes that there are two ways to modify ports of the FortiSwitch using FortiManager.

Scope

FortiSwitch, FortiManager.

Solution

Option 1.

Using device layer configuration. It is necessary to go to CLI Configurations and then select the switch.

Once changed, it is possible to proceed to see install preview on Install Device Settings (only).

Option 2.

FortiSwitch Module. If  Fortiswitch Template is used, modify the configuration using the template already obtained. Once these changes done,it is possible to proceed to see install preview on Install Device Settings (only).
