Technical Tip: Download FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiCore SNMP MIBs

Description

This article describes prerequisites for using FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer. Both require the common CORE MIB (FORTINET-CORE-MIB.mib) for SNMP Monitoring. The FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiCore MIB files can be downloaded from the Fortinet Support Web Site.

Note:  It is not possible to download the prerequisites from the GUI.

Scope

FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer.

Solution

The FortiManager (FortiAnalyzer) and FortiCore MIB files can be downloaded from the Fortinet Support Web Site.

• Log into the Support portal with a username and password.   

• On the Customer Service Support page, select Support -> Firmware Download.

 

 

• After, select Product -> FortiManager and select the 'Download' tab.

 

  

• Select the appropriate FortiManager Version directory (v6.00, 7.00, etc).

 

• Go to 'v7.00' -> '7.6' -> '7.6.2' and use the search option to find the mib file.

 

 

•  Using HTTPS, download the file 'FORTINET-FORTIMANAGER-FORTIANALYZER-MIB-build3415.mib'.

  
  

 

• For FORTINET-CORE-MIB.mib, go to 'v5.00' -> 'Core MIB' and, using HTTPS, download the file FORTINET-CORE-MIB.mib.
