Technical Tip: Changing Language on FortiAnalyzer reports

Description

The article describes how to change report language in FortiAnalyzer.
Scope

FortiAnalyzer 7.6.0 and higher
Solution
  1. Report Language can be configured in Reports/Report Definitions/Settings of reports/Advanced Settings.

  1. Language definitions are available in the Reports section/Advanced Settings, and their Language file can be exported for modification and then re-imported if some names need to be changed for the existing language.

  1. To import a new language, export the English language, unzip the file, and edit English.usr file. After modification, zip again the file and import it, selecting the language from the drop-down list.
  2. Some content still may be in English in standard reports. In that case, the Report data has to be modified directly in the report itself in Reports / Report Definitions/Editor of the report.
