Technical Tip: How to verify the IPS log works accordingly

This article provides a minimal IPS test to verify that the IPS records logs accordingly.

Step 1: Verify the respective IPS Profile is selected for the respective Virtual Server (Server Load Balance -> Virtual Server (edit the respective Virtual Server) -> Security tab).

Step 2: Verify the IPS Security log is enabled (Log&Report -> Log Setting)

Step 3: Generate some IPS related connection

Step 4: Review the IPS Security log (Log&Report -> Security, select IPS)
